How to set up Virtual Box:

First of all, install virtual box and the launch it. From the main screen go for a click option you will get the option of the name, type, and version.

You can give the name for your virtual machine is Android, select Linux in front of type and choose other Linux (64-bit). Then click continue.

You can continue with the default for the next screen you found. After that click on continue to accept them for the memory size, hard disk, and hard disk file type settings.

Under Storage on physical hard disk select fixed size, Which able to give you a little boost and then click on the continue button.

The next screen you will get files location and size. Click on the folder icon and choose where you want to save your new virtual hard disk or you can just keep the default option continue. Stick with the suggested size for the disk and click create.

Your Virtual machine is now set up, now you need to install android in it. Go back to the main window, select the Android VM and click start.

Next, choose the Android ISO file that you downloaded earlier and give a click on start button. You are now ready to install the operating system or also can run without installing. But if you want to use this operating system more than one time then better is to do install it.

The mouse stops working for the next few options so you can use cursor keys on your keyboard to highlight your option and the hit enter to select it.

Install Android:

The first thing of the process is to create a partition of virtual on your hard drive. This is where Android installed. After that, you reached on the next screen where you have to choose to Create/Modify partitions, followed by No.

Now, select New to create a new partition, then Primary and after that hit to Enter button to accept the size. Finally, highlight Bootable and hit enter button again. The word Boot should have appeared on the screen under the Flag in the table above.

After this entire process had done, use the cursor keys to scroll down to write and press Enter. Here you get the warning notification about the partition destroying data on your disk. Ignore this notification and type “yes” to get started. After completing this process scroll over the quit and hit the enter button.

You can now see the choose partition screen, with your recently created virtual partition listed on the top. Now, next step is to install android on this partition and then click OK to begin.

On the next screen, you must select ext4 under choose file system, and then hit yes to confirm on the next screen. The partition will then be formatted.

Now, you will be asked about if you want to install the bootloader or not. Click on yes and then skip on the next screen. When prompted to install /system directory as read/write, Choose Yes. Android will now begin installing on your Mac OS.

Finally, when it has finished, you’ll be promoted to run Android. Hit Enter, and it will start boot in its own window on your desktop.
